Who We Are

​A&Y Birthday Blessings is a community-based initiative dedicated to celebrating children and supporting families experiencing financial hardship. Through birthday celebrations, literacy programs, and resource connections, we help children feel valued, supported, and celebrated.

Birthday-in-box

At-home birthday celebrations for children ages 3–12 experiencing financial hardship or housing instability. Each box includes everything needed to create a joyful birthday experience at home or in a supported community setting

Community celebrations

Quarterly group birthday celebrations hosted in partnership with schools, shelters, and community organizations. These events bring children together for shared birthday experiences filled with gifts, cake, activities, and celebration.

Read& Celebrate story time

A monthly interactive literacy program that combines storytelling, hands-on activities, and social-emotional learning to build confidence, creativity, and a love for reading.

Enrichment & Learning

Hands-on STEM, creative, and interactive activities that encourage curiosity, build confidence, and make learning fun for children.
